Dan Fairs

Dan Fairs has a diverse range of work experience. Dan is currently the CTO and Co-founder of Condense Reality since March 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Non-Executive Director at Inclusive Media Solutions LTD starting from August 2016. Dan also held the position of Director at Neon Machines Ltd starting from October 2018.

In addition, Dan Fairs was the Chair and Non-Executive Director at City to Sea from February 2019 to February 2021. Dan was also the Co-founder and CTO at Poli (Politech Ltd) from May 2016 to July 2019, where they played a key role in the technical backend development and shaping the product roadmap.

Dan Fairs has also been involved in mentoring and volunteering roles. Dan acted as a Volunteer Mentor at Develop Me Training from January 2017 to January 2019, helping students in software engineering. Dan also served as a Consultant at danfairs from May 2016 to December 2016.

Previous to these experiences, Dan Fairs had significant roles at Twitter and SecondSync Ltd. At Twitter, they worked as an Engineering Manager in the UK from September 2015 to May 2016, leading a team of engineers and collaborating with an international team to define and ship Twitter products. Dan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2014 to September 2015, where they were the Technical Lead and architect of the TV Analytics application.

Before their time at Twitter, Dan was an initial founder and the Technical Director of SecondSync Ltd. Dan managed technical projects, recruitment, and operations, and created the initial version of the SecondSync platform.

Overall, Dan Fairs has a strong background in technical leadership, startup co-founding, and mentoring, with experiences in various industries such as media, technology, and training.

Dan Fairs completed their undergraduate education at the University of Bristol from 1996 to 2000. During this period, they pursued a degree in Computer Science and obtained an MEng.
