Deno Adkins

SVP, Ambulatory & Consumer Services at Cone Health

Deno Adkins, FACHE, is the senior vice president of ambulatory and consumer services for Cone Health. In this position, he leads efforts making sure that Cone Health’s services are conveniently located, easy to make appointments at, and offer the types of care consumers are after.

Adkins joined Cone Health as an administrative fellow. Most recently, he served as vice president, ambulatory network. He maintains those responsibilities including setting strategy, development and operations of MedCenters, clinics, urgent care centers and other places that provide health care outside of a hospital.

Adkins earned a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and holds both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Master of Health Administration degree from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He is a fellow of the Health Management Academy GE program and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Adkins is a certified management coach.

An avid United Way supporter and volunteer, Adkins has chaired the Greensboro United Way African American Leadership Advisory Board and the Cone Health employee campaign. He was previously named one of Triad Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under Forty” and Volunteer of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters.
