Jennifer Leach

Jennifer Leach is the Vice President of Managed Care at Cone Health. Jennifer has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a variety of roles.

Jennifer started their career as an attorney at Chaires Hammond, P.L. in 2005. Jennifer then transitioned into the healthcare industry, working as the Assistant Director of Government Programs and Compliance at IMaCS from 2003-2005. In 2008, they became the Manager of Managed Care Contracting at BayCare Health System, where they worked for six years.

In 2014, Jennifer took a position as Manager of Network Management at Aetna. Jennifer then transitioned to Baptist Health in 2016, where they became the Executive Director of Payer Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for managed care, denials and appeals management, payer audit and prime comp network.

In 2021, Jennifer became the Vice President of Managed Care at Cone Health. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of managed care for Cone Health, including contracting, provider relations, utilization management and quality improvement.

Jennifer Leach attended the University of Miami, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Jennifer then attended the University of Houston, where they earned their Juris Doctor in health and employment law. Finally, they attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where they earned their Master of Public Health.

Jennifer Leach reports to Mary Jo Cagle, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Mandy Eaton - COO, Brendan Hodges - President & CEO, HealthTeam Advantage, and Ben Patel - Chief Information Officer.
