Melanie Rodgers

Melanie Rodgers is an accomplished nursing professional with extensive experience in both healthcare management and clinical roles. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Nursing for Oncology Services at Cone Health since December 2018, Melanie also holds the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, overseeing a team of 35 reservists at the Expeditionary Medical Facility in Bethesda, MD. Prior to these roles, Melanie spent over a decade at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where responsibilities included Senior ITS Business Relationship Manager, Nurse Informaticist, and Pediatric Sedation Suite Coordinator, along with various nursing positions in critical care settings. A background in performance is noted with a degree in Vocal Performance and experience as a professional wedding singer, complemented by an MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
