Carmine Valente

Carmine Valente currently serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Con Edison since May 2025 and is a Founding Member and AI Policy, Risk, and Governance Lead at the AI Ethics and Policy Think Tank (AIEPTT) since February 2024. With extensive experience in information security, Valente held positions such as Vice President of Information Security at Paramount from December 2019 to May 2025, and Director of Information Security at CBS Corporation from September 2017 to May 2025. Prior roles include Senior Manager and Manager in Advisory Services at EY from September 2011 to September 2017, an IT Business Analyst at NACCO Materials Handling Group, and an SAP Consultant at Pride. Valente holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Bari and is pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Leadership and Operations at the University of San Diego, expected to be completed in April 2025.
