Elvis Fontalvo

Elvis Fontalvo has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Elvis is currently working at Conekta as a Full Stack Sr since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Assert Solutions as a Middleware Consultant from August 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing requirements, developing software components, and designing solutions for client requests. Before that, they worked as a Senior Developer at Sociedad Puerto Industrial Aguadulce from August 2017 to August 2021.

Elvis also has experience in web and mobile development. Elvis worked at EcoAlbums, a Venezuelan startup, as a Front-End Developer from September 2013 to August 2017. Here, they gained expertise in HTML5, jQuery, CSS3, AngularJs, Bootstrap, WordPress, Firebase, MySQL, PHP, and Ajax/json. Elvis'sresponsibilities included app development, plugin usage, and app publication.

Early in their career, Elvis worked as an Administrative Assistant at Promotora y Constructora Naca from March 2012 to October 2013. Elvis also served as a Cost Analyst at Construcciones metálicas y civiles Narri from July 2008 to October 2011, and as a Cost Analyst at OTP Constructores from January 2007 to July 2007. During their time at OTP Constructores, they also developed a web portal.

Elvis started their career as a Graphic Designer at Construcciones Metálicas Alla from February 2003 to December 2006. Elvis briefly worked as a Web Programmer at the Ministry of Finance from June 2005 to December 2005.

Elvis Fontalvo obtained their Licenciado en Computación degree in Computación Gráfica from Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they studied from 2006 to 2014. Before that, they attended Universidad Simón Bolívar for one year in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Elvis also obtained several certifications, including Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from the University of Michigan in November 2020, Red Hat OpenShift 4 Foundations from Red Hat in July 2020, and various Coursera Course Certificates in subjects like Multiplatform Mobile App Development, Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools, Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS, and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in 2016.
