Farhad Kerimov

Farhad Kerimov has a diverse work experience ranging from academia to research and analysis. Farhad is currently working as an Institutional Research and Planning Analyst at Conestoga College, where they provide customized analyses of data sources and administers surveys. Prior to this, Farhad worked at the American University of Central Asia as the Head of the International and Comparative Politics Department and Assistant Professor in Politics. Farhad also served as a Lecturer in Politics and Security at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. Farhad has teaching experience as a Teaching Associate at the University of Exeter and a Student Support Worker at Randstad UK. Additionally, they worked as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Exeter and as a Systems and Services Certification Coordinator at SGS Turkmen Ltd. Farhad also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the American University of Central Asia and as an intern at The World Bank. In the early stages of their career, they worked as a Turkmenabat American Corner/FLEX Alumni Coordinator at the American Councils for International Education.

Farhad Kerimov's education history is as follows:

Farhad attended the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued studies in Data Analytics. Farhad obtained a certification in Data Analytics from this institution in June 2021.

Prior to that, Farhad pursued a PhD in Politics at the University of Exeter from 2012 to 2016. Their research focused on politics. Before their PhD, Farhad obtained a master's degree in History of Political Thought from the University of Exeter in 2012.

Farhad completed their undergraduate studies at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) from 2006 to 2010. Farhad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International and Comparative Politics.

During their time at AUCA, Farhad participated in a non-degree academic exchange program at North Park University from 2008 to 2009. The program focused on Politics and Government.

In addition to their formal education, Farhad has obtained several certifications. Farhad completed courses in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Essential Training on LinkedIn in September 2022. Farhad also completed the Linux Fundamentals course on Coursera in December 2021.
