Nitish Khiria

Nitish Khiria has a diverse work experience in various industries. Nitish is currently working as the Director of IT Portfolio for Canada Life since June 2022. Previously, they served as a Part-Time Faculty at Conestoga College starting from January 2023.

Before that, Nitish worked at Hydro One for a significant period. Nitish held the role of Senior Manager in the Corporate Pod of the Information Solutions Division (ISD) from August 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager in HR Technology in the Human Resources department from July 2018 to December 2021.

During their time at the University of Waterloo, Nitish held multiple roles. Nitish was a Workday Functional Architect from February 2017 to June 2018. Additionally, they served as a Manager in HR Projects and Technology from October 2014 to June 2018. Nitish also gained experience as an IT Service Desk Supervisor and Computing Consultant from June 2012 to September 2014.

Nitish Khiria completed their education as follows:

1. From 2013 to 2016, Nitish studied at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategy and Operations Management.

2. In 2012 and 2013, Nitish attended the University of Waterloo, where they earned a Management Studies Diploma in Business Administration and Management.

3. Nitish's undergraduate education took place from 2004 to 2010 at the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Nitish also holds several certifications:

1. Nitish obtained the TOGAF 9 Certified - Enterprise Architecture certification from The Open Group in January 2021.

2. In December 2018, Nitish became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.

3. In August 2011, Nitish obtained the MCITP: Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification from Microsoft.
