Research Projects Development Officer at Conestoga College

Sarah Schindler has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Sarah started their career in 2002 as a Field Crew member at Archaeological Research Associates Ltd., where they were responsible for handling and processing archaeological artifacts. In 2006, they worked as a Research Consultant at Ted Boadway Consulting, conducting background research on toxic chemicals in water systems and contributing to a government report.

In 2007, Sarah joined YWCA Toronto as an Executive Coordinator, overseeing the operations of the Executive Office and managing internal communication. Sarah remained in this role until 2014.

In 2015, Sarah joined the Canadian Mental Health Association, initially as a Resource Developer, where they wrote and developed a resource manual on youth and the justice system. Sarah then became an Executive Coordinator, providing project management and administrative support for various initiatives.

Since 2016, Sarah has been working at Conestoga College, first as a Research Services/Research Ethics Board Coordinator, where they managed project coordination and served on the Research Ethics Board. Currently, they serve as a Research Projects Development Officer, collaborating with academic and research leads to submit grant applications and foster research partnerships.

Sarah Schindler's education history is as follows:

From 2017 to 2019, they attended Mohawk College and studied Research Administration.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they studied Project Management at the University of Toronto.

In 2005 and 2006, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Religious and Cultural Studies at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.

Their undergraduate studies were completed from 1999 to 2003 at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Archaeology, Religion and Culture.
