Ken Johnson has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and facility management. Ken started their career as a Draftsman at RLPS Architects in 1985 and then moved on to Calabrese Associates as a Project Manager in 1987. In 1989, they joined Gilbert Architects Inc. as a Senior Project Manager and worked there until 2016. During their time at Gilbert Architects Inc., they served as a key member of the team and handled various complex projects. In 2016, they joined Conestoga Valley School District as a Facilities Manager. Ken was later promoted to the position of Director of Operations in July 2018.
Ken Johnson attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Architecture.

Conestoga Valley School District is a multiple Keystone Award-winning public school district that serves a unique and changing population of some 4,300 students in grades K-12. Located just east of Lancaster City, the CV community has a population of approximately 31,000 residents living in a mix of urban areas, suburban neighborhoods, small towns and rural farmland across 56-square mile area in East Lampeter, Upper Leacock and West Earl Townships. CV is known for its excellent and caring teaching staff and strong academic programs. At the elementary level, students are offered full-day kindergarten and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum of math, language arts, science and social studies, as well as music, art and physical education programs. Library, media and technology programs support all instructional areas. Highlights at the secondary level include Advanced Placement (AP) courses, college-in-the-high school and dual enrollment courses, award-winning arts programs, growing world language offerings (including Spanish, Latin and Chinese) and a physical education and health program recognized as a leader in best practices. Conestoga Valley employs nearly 600 individuals as teachers, administrators, supervisors and support staff. Its school board oversees an annual budget of approximately $60 million, while maintaining the third-lowest property tax rate among Lancaster County schools.
