Miranda McClellan, M.Ed, has extensive experience in special education and coaching. Since August 2011, Miranda has served as both an Assistant Field Hockey Coach and a Special Education Teacher at Conestoga Valley School District. Prior to this role, Miranda worked as a Special Education Teacher at Progressions School from August 2008 to June 2011 and at the Hawaii State Department of Education from June 2007 to June 2008. Miranda holds a Master of Education degree from Gratz College, obtained between 2010 and 2013, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2006.

Conestoga Valley School District is a multiple Keystone Award-winning public school district that serves a unique and changing population of some 4,300 students in grades K-12. Located just east of Lancaster City, the CV community has a population of approximately 31,000 residents living in a mix of urban areas, suburban neighborhoods, small towns and rural farmland across 56-square mile area in East Lampeter, Upper Leacock and West Earl Townships. CV is known for its excellent and caring teaching staff and strong academic programs. At the elementary level, students are offered full-day kindergarten and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum of math, language arts, science and social studies, as well as music, art and physical education programs. Library, media and technology programs support all instructional areas. Conestoga Valley employs nearly 600 individuals as teachers, administrators, supervisors and support staff. Its school board oversees an annual budget of approximately $60 million, while maintaining the third-lowest property tax rate among Lancaster County schools.
