Mike Parkinson has extensive work experience in the drilling and operations management field. Mike is currently serving as the Vice President of Drilling Services at ConeTec since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Mud Bay Drilling (2015) Ltd. where they held the positions of General Manager and Operations Manager from January 2017 to present and December 2015 to January 2022 respectively. Mike also worked at ConeTec Investigations Ltd. where they worked as an Operations Manager from April 2013 to November 2015, Assistant Operations Manager/Project Manager from October 2011 to March 2013, Project Lead and Field Supervisor from January 2008 to October 2011, and Field Technician from September 2004 to September 2009. Mike gained a wide range of skills and experience including equipment operation, data acquisition, data processing, working in isolated environments, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and welding, fabricating, machining, and repair.
Mike Parkinson attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Diploma of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
