Marcelo Lopez

Marcelo Lopez has a diverse professional background. Marcelo is currently the Chairman of Digital Wire Group, a position they assumed in January 2021. Prior to this role, Marcelo served as the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Wire Group from January 2019 to December 2020.

In 2008, Marcelo co-founded UruIT, a software development studio that partners with companies to create innovative digital products. Marcelo has been involved with UruIT since its inception and continues to be an integral part of the organization.

Marcelo Lopez completed their education at two different institutions. Marcelo first attended Universidad ORT Uruguay from 1998 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science and graduated with a degree in Software Engineering. Eight years later, in 2016, Marcelo enrolled in the Executive program at Columbia Business School. Marcelo focused their studies on Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America.
