Conrad Gorniak has a strong background in facilities management and property. Conrad began their career in 1994 as a Locksmith at Allmar International and stayed with the company until 2004. In 2004, Gorniak joined Conexus Credit Union and worked their way up to Director of Property & Facilities, a position they currently hold. Conrad has also held roles as Manager of Facilities and Facilities Technician at Conexus Credit Union.
Conrad Gorniak received education in various fields throughout their career. In 2013 and 2014, they attended BOMI International and Canada Safety Council, specializing in Electrical Systems and Illumination and Office Ergonomics, respectively. Between 2011 and 2012, they pursued a degree in Power Engineering at Carlton Trail Regional College. Additionally, they acquired certifications in WHMIS from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety and in Concussion in Youth Sports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Conrad also engaged in professional development courses, such as Business Execution, Making Humor Work at Work, Basics of Leadership, and Introduction to Management at LearnSmart Seatle. Furthermore, they obtained a CPR / AED Certification from the National CPR Foundation and completed a Journeyman Locksmith program at Red Deer Polytechnic.
