Avery Smith

Avery Smith is a dedicated educational professional with experience as a 6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at Coney Island Prep since May 2023 and as a Teach For America Corps Member since December 2022. Currently pursuing a Master of Education in Middle Childhood and English at Hunter College, Avery previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, where studies have been ongoing since August 2019. Additionally, Avery served as Vice President of Programming for Delta Gamma from November 2020 to November 2021 and gained leadership experience as a camp counselor at Camps Baco and Che-Na-Wah from June 2018 to August 2021.
