Nicole Thomson

She come from a long line of teachers and teaching has always been something She have been drawn to, even as a child. She love to learn and sharing Her love of learning is important to me as a teacher.

She started teaching in 2008 and spent over a decade teaching in the elementary system. She taught at all grade levels K – 8, including French and Instrumental Music. Being a teacher researcher was an exciting part of her job in the Kindergarten classroom where she got to learn about best practices in teaching alongside some amazing researchers. She taught at Confederation College on a part-time and sessional basis in the Human Resources and Educational Assistant programs before starting in the Academic Upgrading department. She have loved her time working with mature learners and being a part of this great team.
