Tony Wood

Tony Wood is a Student Success Advisor in Academic Upgrading. He has been an employee of Confederation College for twenty years and carried positions in Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, Career Services, and Recruitment before joining the Student Success Team in 2014. A lifelong learner, Tony graduated from the Aboriginal Canadian Relations certificate program in 2019 with honours. He began his new role in Academic Upgrading in 2021. He is here to support all new and existing students as they work towards achieving their various goal paths.

Tony feels blessed and excited to be part of the Academic Upgrading team, having spent years promoting the program while in his other college roles. He knows the deep impact the Academic Upgrading Program has had on its students, staff, and faculty over the years and looks forward to sharing in its rich history for many years to come. He has seen success after success as students graduate with their ACE Certificate and carry on to post-secondary or employment, and knows well the level of preparation these students receive.
