Shuba Gopal is a Distinguished Principal Research Fellow at The Conference Board in the Human Capital Analytics Institute. As part of her work with the institute, Shuba helps bring an analytics lens to key questions related to human capital and the workplace. Shuba is also Principal at Glean Signals, LLC, based near Boston, MA. In all of her work, she focuses on identifying the patterns that matter for people and teams to thrive. She combines powerful data science approaches with the latest organizational psychology research to generate key insights. Shuba also draws on key academic and industry collaborations to identify new trends and offer innovative solutions to the challenges that organizations and teams face when managing and developing their people. Her strengths include effective data storytelling and influencing key stakeholders across an organization to take action based on the insights uncovered by her analytic work. Her work has been showcased at the Wharton People Analytics Conference, LEAP HR, and other venues. Shuba holds a PhD in computational biology from the Rockefeller University and a BA in biology and psychology from Sarah Lawrence College.
