Marit Martens has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Marit is currently the Head of Legal at Confido Meditsiinikeskus. Prior to this, they worked as an Attorney specialized in Competition Law, Healthcare, and Pharmaceuticals at RASK Attorneys-at-Law. Marit has also worked as an Associate specialized in Competition Law and Pharmaceuticals at COBALT Legal. Additionally, they gained experience as a Legal Intern at COBALT Legal, ENEFIT, ALTERNA Law, Estonian Ministry of Justice, Private Law Division, RMK (State Forest Management Center), and Tallinn Circuit Court. Marit has also worked as a Legal Advisor at the Student Law Clinic at the University of Tartu, where they provided pro bono legal counseling on various legal matters.
Marit Martens began their education at Tallinn German Gymnasium in 1999 and graduated with distinction in 2011. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Tartu in 2011 and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law until 2014. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Law from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, in 2015, Marit Martens participated in an exchange program at Tilburg University, focusing on Law.
