Junaid Farooq

Junaid Farooq has held various roles in the IT industry since 2007. Junaid began their career as an Internee- IT Helpdesk at Multilynx in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an Internee- IT Infrastructure Planning at Mobilink. In 2009, they worked as a Datacom Engineer - North at Relacom Pakistan. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Zong CMPak Ltd in various roles, including Assistant Manager IT (Enterprise Data Network), Sr. Executive IP Network, and Executive IP Network. During this time, they were responsible for managing CMPak's BOSS & BSS network infrastructure, planning and deploying CMPak's revenue impacting network segments, designing and integrating Teradata, MFS, ERP and LDI network with CMPak's data center network, and more. In 2011, they also worked as an Operations Engineer (IP Core - Technical Assistance Center) at Nayatel Pvt. Ltd, where they were responsible for providing MPLS based Layer2/Layer3 VPN services to corporate customers, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting technologies and protocols, and more. In 2021, they began working as a Tier 3 SD-WAN Network Engineer at Configure, Inc.

Junaid Farooq received their BE Telecommunication Engineering from APCOMS in 2009, with a focus on Telecommunication & Networking. In 2010, they obtained their CCNA from Cisco. In 2012, they obtained their CCIP from Cisco. In 2014, they obtained their Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) from EXIN. In 2015, they obtained their CCIE Routing & Switching (Written) from Cisco. In 2016, they obtained their ITIL Foundation and ITIL Intermediate (OSA) from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
