Marco Cappellini

Marco Cappellini has had a long and varied career in the technology and digital transformation sectors. Marco began their career in 2000 as a Web Engineer for XYZ srl, where they developed rich internet applications and e-commerce portals for big companies. In 2002 they joined INFN as a C Developer, where they were responsible for developing an embedded web server and the frontend web app for a Monitoring System for INFN High-Performance Cluster. In 2005 they became a Full-stack Developer (LAMP) for FIDAS - Federazione Italiana Associazioni Donatori di Sangue, where they developed software as a service solutions to manage all activities related to blood donation. In 2010 they joined Università degli Studi di Padova as a Senior Web Developer (LAMP) and System Integrator. In 2011 they became an Open Water Scuba Instructor, Peak Performance Buoyancy Instructor, Aware Coral Reef Conservation Instructor, Digital Underwater Photography Instructor, and EFR Instructor Primary & Secondary care with AED for PADI and Emergency First Response, respectively. In 2012 they worked as a Project Manager for Ulss 5 Ovest Vicentino and Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova. In 2007 they co-founded Openview Communication & Technology, where they served as Digital Transformation Manager. Finally, in 2019 they co-founded Confirmo, where they currently serve as CEO. At Confirmo, they are disrupting the digital transaction management and the workflow content automation sectors with a platform that allows users to sign documents electronically with the highest level of security.

Marco Cappellini received their Executive MBA (EMBA) from Bologna Business School between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their laurea in Scienze e tecnologie dell'informazione from Università degli Studi di Ferrara between 1999 and 2002. Marco also attended Liceo Scientifico. In addition, they have obtained certifications from IBM, Emergency First Response, and PADI, including IBM Blockchain Essentials (2018), EFR Instructor Primary & Secondary care with AED (2011), and Open Water Scuba Instructor (2011).
