Jan Vacata

Jan Vacata is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Confirmo since November 2023, Jan previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Kiwi.com from January 2021 to June 2023. Prior to that, Jan was the VP of Engineering at Avast Software for nearly a decade, managing over 100 software developers and leading diverse teams in cloud systems and data analytics. Jan's early career includes a role as a junior software engineer at CertiCon a.s., specializing in various programming languages such as C++ and Java. Jan holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
