Asad Jamil has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Asad started their career in 2006 as an Auditor at KPMG, Pakistan, where they worked on audits for various clients in the telecommunication, retail consumer, and pharmaceutical sectors. In 2007, they joined PwC Abu Dhabi as an Assistant Manager, eventually becoming a Manager. During their time at PwC, they provided assurance services to small to medium-sized entities and groups across various industries, managing client portfolios and leading teams. Asad also gained experience in managing the economics of the job and reported directly to Engagement Leaders, Directors, and Partners. In 2014, they joined Deloitte UK as a Manager, focusing on Infrastructure and Real Estate clients in the FTSE 100 and 250. Asad then moved to the Low Carbon Contracts Company in 2015, where they held the roles of Financial Controller/Head of Finance and later Head of Finance and Procurement, overseeing financial operations and procurement functions. Currently, Asad Jamil is working at Confiz as a Senior Director Finance and Accounts, Company Secretary, and VP Finance & Operations, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in finance, operations, and governance.

Asad began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics & Economics from the University of the Punjab from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they pursued professional qualifications and became an Associate Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) from 2004 to 2006. Asad further honed their expertise in accounting and finance by completing their Chartered Accountant certification from ICAEW between 2010 and 2012.

Driven by a passion for law, Asad proceeded to specialize in the field of Islamic Law and obtained a Master's degree from Middlesex University from 2019 to 2021. Building upon this foundation, they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of the Punjab, scheduled to be completed in 2023. The combination of their financial expertise and legal studies adds depth and versatility to Asad's educational background.
