Hyunsoo Kim

HyunSoo Kim is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in solutions engineering and pre-sales roles. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Korea SE Team Lead at Confluent since October 2020, HyunSoo has been instrumental in establishing and promoting Apache Kafka technology within the Korean market. Prior roles include Associate Principal Solution Architect and team lead at Red Hat, where responsibilities included leading the Cloud AppDev & MW SSA team and driving the OpenShift Container Platform business. HyunSoo has also held key positions at Oracle as a Principal Sales Consultant, Hyundai Information Technology as a Principal Consultant, Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Consultant, and BEA Systems as a Senior Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Kyungpook National University.
