Luke Young

Luke Young is a Principal Security Engineer at Confluent since September 2021, following a tenure as a Senior Staff Information Security Engineer at LinkedIn, where multiple CVEs were identified during their employment. Luke is also actively involved in bug bounty programs as a Security Researcher, previously ranking 8th on the Bugcrowd all-time leaderboard. Prior experiences include roles at Uber as a Product Security Intern, where Luke contributed to the HackerOne program, and various internships at LinkedIn focusing on penetration testing. Luke's educational background includes coursework in Computer Science (Information Security) at the University of Minnesota from 2014 to 2016.
