Samir Ranavat currently serves as the VP of Global Revenue Strategy & Operations at Confluent, focusing on global revenue strategy, go-to-market transformation, deal strategy, monetization, and sales compensation. Prior to this, Ranavat held the position of VP and COO for Americas GTM at UiPath from 2021 to 2024. From 2017 to 2021, Ranavat was the Director of Strategy, Planning & Operations for Worldwide Software Defined Data Center Sales at VMware, after serving as the Head of FP&A for the same division. Additional experience includes leading the FP&A team at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), and holding managerial and directorial positions in FP&A at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors. Early career experience includes roles at Oracle and Arthur Andersen & Co. Educational credentials include management programs from Harvard University and INSEAD, alongside CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
