Suchitra Amalapurapu

Suchitra Amalapurapu is a Principal Engineer at Confluent since July 2022, previously serving as Technical Director at Cohesity, focusing on scaling distributed systems for data protection products. Suchitra has extensive experience as a Technical Architect at SayPay Technologies, Inc., designing a voice-biometric authentication system, and as a member of the technical staff at Bloomreach India, where Suchitra contributed to a highly scalable search infrastructure. Early career roles include Senior Software Engineer at Google, where Suchitra was a founding member of the Android team, and positions at Yahoo, Motorola, and IBM. Suchitra holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and two degrees from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani: a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation and a Master's in Information Systems.
