Niema Hirsch

Niema Hirsch is an experienced spiritual leader and educator currently serving as a Chaplain Assistant at Jewish Senior Services since June 2019, and as a Rabbi and Cantor at Congregation Rodeph Sholom since April 2023. With a background in education, Niema held the position of Education Director and Cantor at Congregation Beth El Fairfield from May 2003 to July 2016. Additionally, Niema is the owner of Melody Tours, LLC, specializing in customized Bar Mitzvah trips to Israel since March 2015, and teaches Yoga and Meditation at MERKAZ COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL FOR JUDAIC STUDIES since July 2016. Niema's extensive education includes a Rabbinic Ordination and Master's in Judaic Studies from the Academy for Jewish Religion, an MBA from Sacred Heart University, and a BA in Experimental Psychology from The George Washington University. Previous professional experience includes roles as a Project Manager at Computer Sciences Corporation and IT Manager at Sikorsky Aircraft.
