Lise Abrams

Lise Abrams is both an alumna and faculty member at Pomona College, where she is the Peter W. Stanley Chair of Linguistics and Cognitive Science since 2018. Her research focuses on cognitive aging, specifically the causes underlying real-world retrieval problems in younger and older adults, including tip-of-the-tongue states and difficulties retrieving proper names. She is also an Associate Editor for the journal Psychology and Aging. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Joslyn Senior Center and strolls through the California Botanic Gardens.
