Sidney Johnson

Sidney Johnson is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director for Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the U.S. House of Representatives. Since June 2023, Sidney has been active in handling communications for congressional representatives, previously working as the Press Secretary for Congresswoman Jahana Hayes. Additional experience includes a role as Communications Director at Congressional Black Associates, Press Assistant in the United States Senate, and various positions in public relations and communications, including internships with U.S. Senators Kamala D. Harris and Doug Jones. Sidney Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Legal Communications from Howard University, graduating in 2021.
