Desirée Solomon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Desirée is currently working at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation as the Manager of Policy Research and Analysis, where they utilize their expertise to conduct research and analysis related to policy.

Prior to this role, Desirée worked at Tea & Policy, a leadership development group that they founded in 2020. As the Founder, they created professional development and community engagement opportunities for women in the DMV area to engage in policy discourse and forge professional relationships. Desirée also directed organizational strategy, oversaw day-to-day operations, and provided leadership and support to project teams.

Desirée also has experience as a Paralegal at Jackson Lewis P.C., where they conducted policy research and managed client casework portfolios in the areas of national security, labor, and immigration. Desirée prepared and filed petitions to the Department of Homeland Security and maintained communication with relevant government agencies.

Desirée started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Gonzales-Vigilar Psychiatric Services and later worked as an Assistant at Fairfax County Government.
