Deepali Narula serves as Conifer’s Chief Operating Officer. She provides key leadership as well as strategic and tactical planning activities for Conifer’s diverse business operations, as well as growth for the company’s Hospital Revenue Cycle Management.
Deepali was previously Senior Vice President, HRCM Operations overseeing the operating elements of our hospital revenue cycle services including front, middle and back components.
She joined the company in June 2019 bringing more than 17 years of healthcare experience, supporting many organizations in revenue cycle management and value-based care strategy as well as organizational design, strategy and operational transformation. Deepali is known for her people leadership and her keen ability to leverage analytics and identify opportunities that streamline execution and, ultimately, drive performance improvement.
Deepali started at Conifer by leading performance improvement across enterprise, and quickly moved to leading Patient Services from 2019 to 2021. As part of her role as VP for Patient Services, she was responsible for development of the company’s strategy to help hospital and health system clients address the rise of consumerism, overseeing Marketing, Financial Clearance, Early Out, Bad Debt and Patient Scheduling among other functions while leading one of the nation’s largest workforces of Patient Access Representatives. Prior to that, she served as Vice President, A/R Management where she led all aspects of Conifer’s A/R service delivery operations, including performance, financials and talent management across all clients.
Before joining Conifer, Deepali was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company. There she spent more than eight years advising payers, providers, private equity companies and healthcare tech companies on the strategies to achieve growth and improve performance. Deepali has also held various leadership roles with R1 where she helped multiple providers streamline their Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) function. She also ran back-end shared healthcare tech companies on the strategies to achieve growth and improve performance. She also ran back-end shared service operations and analytics for RCM. Before R1, Deepali was in the analytics division in consumer finance business of General Electric.
