Geraldine Slawek

Geraldine Slawek has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in coding and education. Geraldine most recently worked at Conifer Health Solutions as a Senior Director of Coding Quality. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at Miami Dade College. Geraldine also held multiple roles at the University of Miami, including Executive Director of Coding and Director of Coding. Geraldine started their career as an Instructor at Broward College and later became the Vice President of Coding at Hospital Physician Partners. Geraldine also worked as a Coding Director at EDCare Management, Inc. Geraldine has a strong background in coding and has played various leadership roles throughout their career.

Geraldine Slawek holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business/International Business/Healthcare Administration from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Geraldine also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Health Service Administration from Florida Atlantic University from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed an Associate Degree in Health Information Management from Broward College from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, Geraldine has obtained several certifications, including the HFMA's Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association in 2021, and the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from AHIMA in 2018. Geraldine also holds certifications such as CRC, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CPC-I, CEDC, RHIT, and CPC from various institutions.
