Mr. Shannon Townsend

Mr. Shannon Townsend has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, currently serving as a Distributor for Jacobsen Hybrids since April 2017, where the focus is on high-quality hybrid seeds competing with larger companies. Additionally, Mr. Townsend has been a self-employed Independent Business Owner with the Conklin Company since March 2010, working with farmers to enhance yields through educational approaches and providing additional revenue streams via existing seed dealer networks. Prior to these roles, Mr. Townsend served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from September 1992 to August 2000, gaining valuable leadership and mentoring skills along with expertise in F/A-18 hydraulics and metalsmithing. Mr. Townsend holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Studies from Northwest Missouri State University and an Associate of Arts degree from Southwestern Community College.
