Bill Kelly has extensive work experience in various engineering roles, with a focus on manufacturing and product development. Bill has served as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at CONMED Corporation, where they provided leadership and technical support for new product development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. At Hill-Rom, they worked as a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for managing the manufacturability of new products, cost management, and process flow. Bill also piloted and commercialized new products within budget and on time. Prior to that, they worked as an NPI Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at GE Inspection Technologies, developing and validating assembly tooling for small precision optical-mechanical assemblies. Bill has also held managerial positions, including Manager of Tooling Engineering at Covidien and Assembly Tooling Manager at Welch Allyn, Inc. In addition, they have experience in research and development, having worked as an R&D Engineer at Mott Corporation, where they led projects for the development of new filtration products. Throughout their career, Bill has demonstrated expertise in project management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Bill Kelly completed their associate's degree in Mechanical Technologies from SUNY Westchester Community College between 1975 and 1977. Bill then pursued their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus, which they completed between 1981 and 1986.
