Edwin Plooijer

Edwin Plooijer has a diverse work experience. Edwin is currently employed at Conn-Selmer, Inc. as a Sales Manager for Northern Europe Ludwig Musser since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at SONOR GmbH from May 2017 to September 2021, where they held the role of International Key Account Manager, responsible for managing key accounts in the UK, Ireland, Benelux, and Scandinavia.

Before their role at SONOR GmbH, Edwin worked as a Drummer for Den & the mad men from May 2014 to November 2018. From October 2006 to May 2017, they worked at FENTEX as an International Sales Manager, handling direct sales, after-sales support, account management, and product management for German, Austrian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, and Croatian accounts. Edwin also maintained contact with suppliers in the USA (Ludwig drums) and Turkey (Istanbul AGOP cymbals) and created promotional activities.

Additionally, Edwin has held several drumming roles throughout their career. Edwin was a Drummer for Disco Disciples from 2006 to 2017, a Substitute Drummer for Cloudmachine from 2013 to 2015, a Sub Drummer for 21onair dinnershow in November 2013, and a Substitute Drummer for June Noa in 2012-2013.

During their career, Edwin also served as a Slagwerk Instructeur for muziekvereniging Soli from March 2014 to April 2017 and played as a Drummer for als de brandweer from 2009 to 2015.

Edwin Plooijer completed their higher secondary education at Schoter Scholengemeenschap from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a degree in Havo (Hoger algemeen voortgezet onderwijs). Following this, they pursued a degree in drums at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, specializing in the field of conservatory, from 2000 to 2005.
