Justin Pierce, D.M.A. has a diverse range of work experience in the music industry. Justin is the owner of Justin Pierce Music since 2005. In 2016, they became a Selmer/Yanagisawa Performing Artist at Conn-Selmer, Inc. Justin also worked as a Vandoren Artist-Clinician at DANSR Inc. in the same year. From 2014 to 2021, they served as an Assistant Professor of Instrumental Music at Oklahoma Baptist University. Additionally, they were the Musical Director of the Keller-Area Youth Jazz Orchestra from 2013 to 2020. Justin has also worked as an adjunct instructor of music at Eastfield College - DCCCD and as a visiting instructor of jazz ensemble and woodwinds at Cameron University. Furthermore, they have experience as a private saxophone/clarinet instructor at Keller ISD and Denton ISD. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Teaching Fellow in jazz saxophone and the Seven O'Clock Lab Band at the University of North Texas in 2011.

Justin Pierce, D.M.A., has a comprehensive education history in the field of music performance. Justin first pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance at McNeese State University between 2005 and 2010. Continuing their studies, they enrolled at the University of North Texas, where they obtained their Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from 2010 to 2012. Justin further sharpened their expertise in Saxophone Performance, along with a related field in Jazz Arranging, at the same university. Here, they successfully completed their Doctor of Musical Arts degree between 2012 and 2019.
