Michael Keepe

Michael Keepe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1992, they began their career as a Saxophonist in the Rodriguez & Keepe Duo, a role they held until 2015. Michael also managed the Presidio Saxophone Quartet as the Soprano Chair from 1998 to 2016.

In 2003, Keepe joined Conn-Selmer, Inc. as an Artist/Clinician. Michael then started their own publishing house called Keepe Publishing House in 2006 and served as the Owner.

Keepe's involvement in academia includes positions at The University of Arizona, where they served as an Adjunct Instructor of Saxophone in 2013 and later as an Assistant Professor of Saxophone from 2014 to 2016. At Pima Community College, they worked as an Instructor of Saxophone and Music Industry from 2006 to 2016. Michael also participated in the Dorrance Scholarship Program in 2013 as a Co-Instructor, assisting with entrepreneurship instruction.

Additionally, Keepe was a Saxophonist for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra from 2006 to 2017, a Faculty member at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp from 2015 to 2016, and part of the faculty at The University of Arizona from 2013 to 2014.

Michael Keepe has completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance at the University of Arizona. Additionally, they have also completed their Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Saxophone Performance and Music Business from the same university.
