Ed Leonard

Ed Leonard has over 30 years of work experience. Ed began their career as a self-employed Audio Engineer in 1990. From 2001 to 2017, they worked for Clearstream as a Consultant ARM (Application Release Manager), Consultant Functional Analyst, IT Consultant Software Engineer, and Software Engineer/Functional Analyst. Ed's roles included Release Manager covering multiple environments, on & offshore teams, large scale development of multi-product customer platform, data support systems, data warehousing, and master data systems. In 2017, they joined Connect Childcare as Chief Technology Officer, Head of Engineering, and Development & Testing Manager. In this role, they managed multiple teams development & QA, implemented automation testing, CICD pipelines, and technical transformation & SaaS platform engineering.

Ed Leonard holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Glasgow Caledonian University. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board: ISTQB Agile (obtained in October 2016) and ISTQB Testing (obtained in March 2016).
