Chief People Officer at Connect Childcare

Sonia Hardy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sonia currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Connect Childcare, where they are responsible for driving innovation and implementing the people strategy. Prior to this, they worked at Hardy Services as an HR Manager/Director, leading the restructuring of the business during a period of financial difficulty. Sonia also held the position of HR Officer at both Warburtons and Northcote Hotel Ltd, where they supported the delivery of the people strategy and played a key role in the development of programs such as the Apprenticeship Scheme. At Vantage Motor Group, they served as an HR Officer responsible for providing generalist support to over 600 employees and leading an HRIS implementation. Sonia started their career at Forbes Solicitors, initially as a Lawyer specializing in Criminal Law before transitioning to the role of Human Resources Officer.

Sonia Hardy has completed various education programs and certifications. Sonia holds a CMI Level 7 Leadership & Management degree from the Chartered Management Institute. Additionally, they have earned a Level 7 Advanced HR Management degree, a Level 5 Diploma HR Management degree, and a Level 3 HR Certificate, all from CIPD Qualifications.
