Romain Asnar

Romain Asnar's work experience includes a diverse range of roles in the tech industry. Romain currently works as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Connect Earth since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the VP Engineering at Panya from March 2020 to February 2022. Romain also worked as a Software Architect at Carrefour from April 2019 to January 2020.

In 2018, Romain founded Coderbunker Singapore and served as a Software Engineer and Co-Founder, where they focused on enhancing security, scalability, and testability. Romain also recruited and mentored iOS developers and built tools to increase productivity.

Before Coderbunker, Romain co-founded Mobilette in 2015, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Co-Founder. Romain helped startups build iOS apps in Swift/Objective-C and collaborated with CTOs from big companies to develop software development strategies.

Romain also worked as an iOS Tech Lead at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from January 2017 to June 2018, where they built the first version of the connected car SDK.

Prior to that, they served as an iOS Tech Lead at The CareVoice from September 2014 to March 2015, leading the iOS team in Swift app development and architecture redesign.

Romain began their career at Wizpik as an iOS Engineer, where they released the first version of the iOS app and migrated it to Swift and VIPER architecture. Romain also worked as an iOS Engineer at One More Thing Studio, building iOS apps for startup clients.

In addition to their industry experience, Romain worked as a Teaching Assistant at Epitech, where they taught programming basics to first and second-grade students in subjects such as UNIX, C, PHP, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

Romain Asnar has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Epitech, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued further studies in the same field at Beijing Jiaotong University from 2012 to 2013, earning a second Master's degree.
