Robert Edmunds is a professional accountant with 28 years of experience and serves as the Financial Controller at Connect Logistics. He began his accounting career working in the service industry, working his way up to the Controller position. Receiving his accounting designation in 2003 and looking for new challenges, he transitioned into the warehousing industry by taking on the role of Controller at Shaben International (distributor of Toys, Giftware, Stationary & General Merchandise).

Seeing a further opportunity for growth in a larger global organization, he joined the Connect Logistics team. As part of the Senior Management team, he has led the Finance Department for the past 15 years. He is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the corporate strategy that aligns with client and industry stakeholder expectations. Within Finance he is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, sensitivity modeling and variance analysis as well as overseeing the functions within the department.
