Charles Griplas

Charles Griplas currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Centre for Connected & Automated Transport (CCAT) since December 2023. In addition, Charles has been the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ConnectEast since August 2014. Prior to this, Charles held the position of Managing Director and CEO at Spirit of Tasmania from March 2008 to June 2014. Earlier in Charles's career, the role of Head of Finance and Organisational Development was undertaken at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Oceania from June 1999 to February 2007. Charles began professional experience as a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young from January 1998 to June 1999. Charles holds a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Commerce (Hons) degree from UNSW.
