Bethany Nguyen

Bethany Nguyen has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Community & Content Manager at Buzzy.gg since March 2021. In this position, they create and manages TikTok and YouTube accounts focused on Roblox Studio content, providing valuable resources for game developers and fostering collaboration within the community. Additionally, Bethany is a Game Developer at Buzzy.gg where they create scripting tutorials to help people learn Lua coding.

Before joining Buzzy.gg, Bethany worked at Connected Camps as a Lead Developer from January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for project organization and reporting to the Product Manager. Bethany oversaw the development cycle of programs and provided mentorship to campers. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Counselor at Connected Camps from May 2020 to January 2021. Here, Bethany taught online STEM classes in Minecraft, Esports, and Digital Making, contributing to connected learning experiences for kids worldwide.

Bethany also gained experience working at UC Irvine as part of the UCI Program of Public Health COVID-19 Chatline from April to June 2020. In this position, they were involved in a frontline emergency public health communications effort, effectively communicating health information to the public.

Before their roles in the tech industry, Bethany worked as a Piano Instructor at a Private Studio from October 2018 to June 2020. Bethany provided private piano lessons tailored to individual students, incorporating music theory in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.

Bethany Nguyen began their education at Warren High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2012 to 2016. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health Science at UC Irvine from 2016 to 2020.
