Thor Mortensen

Thor Mortensen is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in firmware and software development, primarily for embedded systems in the space industry. Since June 2022, Thor has been working at Connected Cars, following a tenure at Rovsing A/S where responsibilities included low-level embedded system development in VHDL and Linux kernel driver programming, as well as higher-level software development in C/C++, Java, and Ruby. Thor's earlier roles included internship experience in firmware development for ground testing systems and educational projects in embedded systems from reputable institutions. Thor also has a diverse skill set encompassing various programming languages, digital electronics, and control systems, alongside practical experience as an electronics teacher and in the culinary field.
