Martyn Dryden

Martyn Dryden is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Connected Places Catapult since September 2019, Martyn leads a team of 14, focusing on financial processes, controls, and strategic business partnering. Prior to this role, Martyn held various positions at Future Cities Catapult, where key achievements included the development of financial management information and the execution of a corporate merger. With earlier experience at Moore Kingston Smith in accountancy practice and as a Non-medical Underwriter at Legal & General, Martyn has successfully worked across diverse sectors and implemented cost-reduction programs and financial controls. Educational credentials include the ACA from ICAEW and a BSc in Accounting & Management from Cardiff University.
