Michael Merritt is a seasoned professional currently leading commercial and growth initiatives at Skyports Drone Services, where a focus is placed on developing partnerships and scaling drone service networks across diverse industries. Michael serves as a member of the Aviation Advisory Board for the Freight Innovation Cluster at Connected Places Catapult, providing strategic oversight to drive innovation within the sector. Prior experience includes leading strategy and operations at Skyports, contributing as a BVLOS Pilot and Flight Operations Engineer on UAV delivery projects for major clients such as Royal Mail and the NHS, and working as a business analyst across various companies in the pharmaceutical and digital sectors. Michael holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol.
