Kareem Alshomaly

Kareem Alshomaly is an experienced IoT Engineering Manager at Connected Solutions Group, LLC, since December 2021, where responsibilities include managing the design and implementation of enterprise network solutions for over 300 sites. Prior to this role, Kareem served as a Tier 2 Engineer at Industrial Technical Services, Inc. and held positions as an Automation Engineer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Additionally, Kareem was involved in academia as a Teaching Assistant and a Cyber Physical Security VIP Team Member at VCU. Leadership experience includes serving as Vice President and Treasurer of the Arab Engineers Organization, focusing on empowering international engineers. Kareem holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, a minor in Mathematics, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations at the University of the Cumberlands.
