Kelly Hawley

Kelly Hawley is a highly experienced professional in the field of research and academia, currently serving as the Associate Director for the Division of Research and a Senior Research Scientist at Connecticut Children's since February 2018. Concurrently, Kelly holds the position of Assistant Professor at UConn Health since October 2012, where previous roles included Instructor and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on studying macrophage-T. pallidum interactions to understand human syphilis. Furthermore, Kelly has contributed as a TRiO Science Tutor at Westfield State University from November 2016 to May 2021 and completed graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a Ph.D. in Animal Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences in 2012 and a B.S. in Veterinary & Animal Sciences in 2009.
