Dr. Iris Halldorsdottir is a Senior Researcher at the Care Quality Commission since September 2022, with prior experience as a Research Consultant at Program Insights and Evaluation Research from 2020 to 2022 and as the Director of Research 4 Results from 2013 to 2019. Dr. Halldorsdottir has expertise in qualitative and quantitative research within social and health programs, focusing on program needs assessments, social marketing planning, monitoring and evaluation, and impact evaluations. Previous roles include Research Manager at Population Services International in Botswana from 2009 to 2012 and Fieldwork Manager and Analyst for medical communication projects at UCLA from 2002 to 2004. Dr. Halldorsdottir earned a PhD in Sociology from the University of York and holds two Master of Philosophy degrees in Criminology from the University of Cambridge.
